Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium™ that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium™ meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I toiled with the idea of getting a cheaper lock, but after watching countless bike lock reviews/tests on YouTube, I took the plunge and went for the X3. I'm so glad I did. After several research on the web watching test videos, it seems quite obvious that the Litelok X3 should be the strongest lock out there. I got some of the best KRYPTONITE U lock, but the LITELOK X3 is another level above. The construction is phenomenal, it feels massively sturdy, and after seeing the test videos, I feel very confident leaving my bike to go shopping and else, I love it and would feel as safe with anything else.

This lock is heavy heavy. I know there isn’t a lock that can’t be cut with enough time but based on my research, this lock with allow enough time to get tired and leave for the less persistent thief. I think I ordered the wrong version for my e-bike and should have gotten the moto version because maybe it’s wider for wheel installation. That’s my mistake though. My bike has a really wide rear wheel so that isn’t an option for securing but as you see, I’m good for the front. I will need to find more locking locations for my bike as I usually have it inside but I now feel secure if I need to leave it outside with the X3. Great job Lite Lok !!!

This is a solid lock. Thankfully I haven’t had it tested yet. Confident it would be a deterrent to any rascal trying to cut through it with an angle grinder. It’s heavy. Watch the video attached.

I bought the Litelok X3 for my Yamaha XSR125, as bike theft is high at the moment and a legitimate fear. It is a quality lock, feels robust and it’s heavy but not too heavy to comfortably ride with it in a backpack. The X3 doesn’t fit thru the sprockets or over the wheel on this bike, so I rest it between the alloys and loop a chain through it (when parked at home). Fortunately, this lock has a rubber coating that protects your alloys against any damage, and has reflective coating making it easily visible at night, which is a bonus. Highly recommend.
