Lock Cylinder
X1 PLUS features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the best-selling U-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 PLUS is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 PLUS requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 PLUS be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 PLUS is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 PLUS weigh?
LITELOK X1 PLUS weighs approximately 1.99kg (4.39lb).
What's the difference between X1 PLUS Bike and X1 PLUS Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 PLUS can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 PLUS and X3?
LITELOK X1 PLUS and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1 PLUS. X1 PLUS has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1 PLUS?
LITELOK X1 PLUS has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 255mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other d-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 PLUS to my bike?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical Mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 PLUS is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
The X1 Tactical Mount is sold separately.
Please note: The X1 PLUS used with an X1 tactical Mount will only be suitable for large frames.
X1 PLUS been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 PLUS made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A rubber outer layer that is soft to touch so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

The Litelok X1 Plus is the perfect lock for anyone who needs to secure larger bikes. Thanks to its extra length compared to the standard version, it always fits on various bike racks. I have a large SUV bike and can always use this lock to secure either the down tube or the frame triangle. What I particularly like is that Litelok has ensured there is no gap where the U-lock meets its counterpart. This prevents targeted attacks on the shackle, unlike some competitors where such vulnerabilities have been reported. What I didn’t like as much is that the keys are very small; they could be a bit bigger. The locking mechanism itself, however, works smoothly. Many people ask how to transport this large lock. For that, I’d like to recommend the Matlama U-Lock Basket—see Image 2. I recommend this lock 100%.

I think this lock may have saved my bike. Last week I got a movement alert on my phone; when I came home from work the bike was still in the bike shed, and I assumed Storm Dave had triggered the sensor. Today I took the bike out to fit the X1 tactical mount and noticed cuts on the lock looks like someone tried to steal it.

After on escooter stolen I decided to get litelok X1 plus to secure the next one.
It has been delivered quickly and well packaged.
The lock is good looking and the rubber on it is enough thick.

My first Loklite was an x3, I really liked the lock cylinder including the full-fledged key. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the x1 in terms of the key. Personally, I don't really like this; for my part, I'd rather have a weighty key in my hand.
The U-lock itself is just like on the x1 Top. However, if I had been more aware of the differences between the x1 and the x3 (different keys, different composition of the bracket - baronium) then I would have waited until the x3 was offered with a long bracket.
Last but not least, I will have to buy a third Loklite as soon as it is offered.

I Purchased the litelok plus after watching numerous videos of people destroying the lock with a grinder.
However the reason I purchased the X1 Plus is the dimension of the lock.
I need to secure 2 E bikes together and the reach of the plus allows me to achieve that. And there is no other lock in the grinder resistant range that allows me to do that.
I have also done a short video showing how I use the lock.
I am very impressed with the lock and will be purchasing a second lock.
I highly recommend the X1 plus for securing your bike and having peace of mind that it can prevent the possible theft.
