Without a Doubt The Best Lock in the World
I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about. With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.

Reflective Strips

Tested against the most D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features.
X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1.
X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti‑angle grinder material, applied as a permanently fused composite armour to provide maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I purchased my lock 2 years ago. It's so versatile as you can go through the front or back wheels.
It's portable so it's easy to take with you.
At home I use mine with a loop chain which secures it to a wall. The lock goes through the back alloy wheel spokes. It was a snug fit through the chain links so I trimmed back about an inch of the rubber sleeve with a sharp craft knife to make it easier with absolutely no detriment to the lock itself.
With Liteloks reputation, those who know what they are up against will probably leave my bike alone and move on.

Really fast delivery, and a solid, sturdy and well made piece of kit, which is as per all the videos and descriptions I’d seen online.
Little bit of advice for other Ninja 1000sx owners - I managed, with quite a bit of fiddling and trying different angles, to fit it through the spoke and brake disc of a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 1000sx, but only just…. (Note - fits through one side only, as the Ninja 1000sx has a thin ‘cover’ on the opposite disc which prevents the lock sliding all the way through both discs). The lock would fit through/around the wheel spoke alone with ease, but doesn’t fit around the outside of tyre/rim as you would maybe see on other bikes. One other thing just for info, the longer version of the X1 would not fit through the disc and spoke, as it would foul on the opposite disc due to its longer length. Took me some practice at just the right angle to get on and off the wheel, but nevertheless it’s a cracking lock and happy with my purchase.

After hours of comparisons and pricing pros and cons, I decided this was the lock for me. It was too expensive for me at the time, but I figured it was worth the buy once, cry once mentality…so I saved up, ordered, it arrived remarkably fast (I live in Hawaii) and let me tell you; it was worth the wait. Worth every cent.
I got the tactical mount as well, and it is solid, easy to install, and I feel far more confident locking my E-bike with a lock that says, “That’s gonna take too long.”
