Without a Doubt The Best Lock in the World
I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about. With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.

X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the most D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features.
X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1.
X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti‑angle grinder material, applied as a permanently fused composite armour to provide maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I bought this to protect my e-bike and motorcycle when I’m out and about. In fact I use it as extra security when they are in the garage too. The X1 is solid and feels up market. Obviously the proof of how good it is will be when someone tries to get it off. I’m not planning on that happening but you know what I mean.

This is an undeniably stable and secure U-Lock and gives me confidence when locking up my bike around Baltimore City. I love the high-vis reflectors and the smoothness of the turnkey lock. My only critique is that the U-shape is particularly narrow and proves challenging to loop around the front tire and frame when locking up on bike racks. I have a small frame step-through bicycle with quick release wheels, so attaching to both the wheel AND frame is essential. I'd love to see an extra wide option available one day for people with similar frames. :)

Love the subtle looks and design of the lock. It’s not too “in your face”, its subtle design is recognizable comparatively to a traditional u-lock/d-lock, but just enough to show the litelok flare. Very good secrurity and reliable.

Excellent lock with just enough room to use on most locking posts. I bought this lock (and the tactical mount) for my partner’s ebike to give us peace of mind when we’re out on rides. I have a Hiplok for my own bike, but it is not as spacious as the Litelok. The little extra room that this Litelok has makes it more usable on bigger locking posts. I prefer to use the Sheldon Brown method when locking my bikes, so this has plenty of room for securing the back wheel. Sure it’s pricey, but compared to other grinder resistant locks it’s one of the more affordable options. I highly recommend the Litelok, however the tactical mount is pretty tedious to use, particularly on a step through frame. Velcro straps on a rack are more user friendly mounting options.

After seeing the increasing number of reports on Facebook of attempted motorcycle thefts and stolen bikes, I decided to research the most effective physical security options available. The Litelok X1 Moto stood out as an excellent balance of security, portability, and cost. It provides a high level of resistance to common theft methods while remaining practical enough to carry with me, making it an ideal addition to my overall security setup.
In my opinion, motorcycle manufacturers should incorporate more advanced anti-theft systems as standard, such as integrated wheel-locking mechanisms or other immobilisation devices that physically prevent the motorcycle from being moved. Until features like these become commonplace, investing in a high-quality security device is essential.

I've tried other lock, both chain and U Locks and lost bikes that have been protected by both, the thieves in London grind through both U Locks and chains ... that last chain took nearly 3 mins but they still got away with a Kawasaki Z1000SX ... not with the LiteLok, they can't get through this with a grinder ... the independent videos don't lie, this lock is grinder proof
