The Litelok Go Flexi-U is not as high security as my other lock, but at nearly 3Kg my other lock is not really practical for regular, daily use. For generally use, I need a lock that is secure enough to put off casual thieves, but light and compact enough to carry comfortably. The Go Flexi-U satisfies those requirements admirably.

Flexi-U is a flexible alternative to heavy traditional rigid U or D locks. At under half the weight of comparable insurance rated locks it bends and flexes, without compromising on security.

Is LITELOK GO Flexi-U wearable?
Unfortunately not as the shape does not allow this. If you're looking for a lightweight lock that is wearable, the GO Flexi-O is the best option.
What's the difference between GO Flexi-U and GO Flexi-O?
The only difference is the shape. The GO Flexi-O is formed into an O shape and the GO Flexi-U is a U shape. They both offer different locking options. Both are highly flexible and offer greater reach around fixed objects than traditional U or D locks.
How much does GO Flexi-U weigh?
A GO Flexi-U-52 weighs 641g (1.4lb) and the Flexi-U-70 weighs 750g (1.8lb). That’s up to 50% lighter than other insurance rated D/U locks, chains, or cables.
Can I mount GO Flexi-U on my bike?
Absolutely! Each lock comes with a pair of wrap straps that make it easy to attach your lock to the frame of your bike or pannier.
Why would I buy GO Flexi-U over a more traditional U-Lock?
GO Flexi-U is highly flexible and bends easily allowing you far more locking options than a traditional U-lock. You’ll often find that a post or pillar can be too wide for a fixed shape lock and it leaves you searching for somewhere else to lock your bike. Also, being flexible it means that the lock is much more resistant to torsion attacks that are often used on U-locks in a theft attempt. The GO-U is able to twist, without being broken. Additionally, GO Flexi-U is up to 50% lighter than a traditional U-lock making it far more portable whilst still maintaining a good level of security.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 1 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

…..my only reservation is you cannot get keyed alike locks otherwise this would be 5 stars. My wife and I tour together and this is our favorite lock but that means we both have to carry two keys. I’d also like to buy the round version for more in town (wearable) but that would mean yet another key.
FWIW, I can, and have, ordered Kryptonite U locks keyed alike. I’ve even gone back a year later, given them my key code and bought an additional lock. This is the way it should be. Please work this out!
That aside, the locks work super smooth, much easier to lock compared to solid U/D locks and the weight reduction is wonderful. We also like how these fit in our Tailfin AeroPacks (or most rack trunks we’d assume). Brilliant overall design.
But please, PLEASE, make keyed alike locks and the ability order new same model lock with a given key code.

The lock seems solid and well made, but comes with two very cheap, flimsy straps. The straps are not able to be tightened fully and using them would cause the lock to move whilst riding. Not ideal, so will ditch them and just have to wedge the lock into a pannier.

First of all: I bought it in a package with my new foldable e-bike. It is just right for the bike and fits perfectly in the frame. The design is very good and it is very light.
It's also easy to use and offers the right protection. I like it.
