Just after purchasing this I had an attempted theft of my bike. When I went back to it I saw they had tried to break through the lock. They were unsuccessful. This product stood up successfully against them. There are just some marks where they'd got through the rubber in places, but no further, nor any likelihood of breaking through it. Definitely recommend
