Without a Doubt The Best Lock in the World
I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about. With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I think it's a great lock with a great mount. Luckily I haven't had it tested yet with any grinders or not cutters, but it's heavy duty and I'm confident it's going to do the job. I'm about to buy a second one for my son's scooter after I leave this review.

This is my second lock. Use it in pair with hiplock.
Litelok is very good and comes with nice and soft case. I really feel this is the product from people who care.
They also ask to register keys to create new if original is lost.

My daughter previously had another bike lock in which she broke off a key inside, making it unusable. Consequently, I removed this old lock with my angle grinder (see pic). I was surprised how easy it was to do this. This got me searching for a more secure lock for her expensive E-Bike. After some research I decided on the Litelok X1. My only concern from other reviews was difficulty unlocking and shorter shackle. These have turned out to be non-issues for her, so all is good!

I’ve never purchased a premium bike lock before, but as I recently bought a rather pricey ebike, I figured I needed better protection than the cheap u-locks and cables I have previously used. I received the X1 and I was immediately impressed. It came in a neoprene sleeve and the coating had a good feel to it, but it also felt substantially more heavy duty than any other lock I’ve used. I can’t attest to the angle grinder resistance yet, and hopefully never have to, but I definitely feel peace of mind with this thing. The locking mechanism is smooth and locks both ends of the U. The keyhole is covered with a flap that lets the key in easily without jiggling with an additional plastic cover like other u locks I’ve used. You can see in the video I attached. All in all, I’m happy with this purchase so far

I've had one bike lock for the past 14 years (a Kryptonite Evolution Standard) and I haven't lost a bike, but I got a new bike recently and I thought I should upgrade my ageing lock, so after reading and watching lots of reviews I decided on the X1.
The mount fits well on the top tube even though it's an irregular shape.
I feel a lot more confident now that my bike will be where I left it when I return.

It goes without saying that no anti-theft device is going to be impenetrable. However you only need to ensure your bike is sufficiently difficult to steal, to make the thieves look elsewhere.
This is where I think the Litelok has a huge benefit over other brands. The solidity of the device, coupled with its reputation for eating angle-grinder discs for breakfast, are going to make any bike secured with one of these, a very unattractive theft prospect.
I bought my Litelok primarily for my motorbike, but shortly afterwards I started also using it to secure my e-bike as well. In the future I may purchase a separate one for the e-bike, purely for convenience.
I wouldn't consider any other brand of D-lock.

X1 is fantastic - robust, plastic-coated, I can't imagine it giving in to a simple robber. Sure, it is shorter than Abus GRANIT XPlus 540, but it is longer than Hiplok D1000, and it can also, ironically, be combined much easier with Hiplok chain than Hiplok itself!
